Something I've noticied about some hypnotherapists and self-hypnosis recordings is that you need days, sometimes weeks to get the desired result but there are also some courses on line that guarantee one session results. (and no, this one is not a scam)

'Suggestion based' hypnosis, like NLP, audio programs, and most hypnotists, will generally take some time. Guaranteed one session results are generally not reliable and the guarantee is a marketing tool. |

Always remember that the success of the session is what the client allows to happen. If the client has doubts, negative thoughts, or limited beliefs in themselves, yes it could take time for change, and more sessions.
A good Hypnotherapist also has a major role in it however, remember the Hypnotherapist has no control over you. It is up to the client to take the suggestions and allow the changes to begin happening.
There is one more important part in all of this. If you are not having success with basic suggestions there is something deeper that needs to be addressed by a qualified Hypnotherapist. |
